Crazy you made this video 6 yrs ago and here I am watching it cause today, year 2022, and I just bought a Surfer.

How is the tracking with this board vs, say, the Icon, which has a big fin underneath. I like the idea of the kick-up fin, but am curious if it's as effective, or maybe it's even better?

I still have my Imagine Surf Angler paddle board and I lover it very much after all these years. I wish it was a little lighter because I am not getting any younger :). Its great for fishing or just relaxing with my wife.

So using the plate (option 2) wont allow you to simply pop the fin out, however, keeps the fin more secure? Is that why you would use the plate?

I have an older Connector (14X291/4) that I absolute love other than on flat calm water it is not as "quiet" and smooth as my 14ft. Dominator. I would be curious to know if anyone can comment on how the Rocket would compare to a Dominator on flat water?

Loved Kalama ever since Riding Giants back in the day and this only makes it better. For me surfing has always been about the technical element, trimming and not fighting the wave. There's a real gap in the Social Media world for more of this. Try and find decent SUP long boarding style videos ANYWHERE and you'll be hard pushed. Keep up the good work Imagine and Kalama :) Tom, England.

This is the board I ride now and love it. He is right. It's incredibly efficient and seems to find the bumps effortlessly. Dave knows how to read the water and to make a board that reflects his many miles and years of success it's no wonder anyone who rides this board will perform at their best.

Really nice looking board! I'm really wanting to buy a paddle board from you guys because I'm transitioning from casual paddling to surfing with a paddle board. I do minor surfing with a paddle board now on 3-4 foot waves in Florida but the board is not quite built for surfing. I'm going to the west coast of Mexico in about 2 months and really need a paddle board to face those 6-10 foot waves. I'm not sure which board to buy from you guys and have many questions to ask on what to buy!

Hey thanks for replying, I am in need of a replacement "brass square piece that the fin screw goes into"...or just a complete replacement fin box with 9" surf fin. I have had to improvise due to the lack of customer support from the beginning. I have to say I LOVE the paddleboard, It's just that it hasn't been as fun without replacement parts or warranty. Please hook me up with an email address to contact you further, so I can get my hands on a few replacement parts please.... Thank you!!!

I can get you squared away, if you still have a need. I'm a dealer in UT. I'm guessing it's due to the fact that the company was acquired last year and had some transitional pains. We're on Facebook/DigPaddlesports.

Seriously...lmao. What do you do when your whitewater paddling and your fin smashes into a rock with so much force that it bends the screw going through the fin and the extra amount of screw "under" the fin bends at a 90 degree angle not allowing you to unscrew the fin?
